Youth at Altamont

Guiding Teens to Know and Follow Christ

Our mission is to equip students in their faith to live boldly in an increasingly secular world.

We use Acts 2:42 as our vision for the ministry:

“They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread, and to prayer.”
Our Goals

Our Goals

Teach God's Word
"All Scripture is inspired by God and is profitable for teaching, for rebuking, for correcting, for training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work." 2 Timothy 3:16-17

Christ-centered Fellowship
"And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near." Hebrews 10:24–25

Our Gatherings

Tuesdays (6th-12th grade)

We meet every Tuesday night to share a short teaching, discuss, pray for each other, and hang out. We use the Answers Bible Curriculum which is a chronological curriculum that covers the entire Bible. It answers questions that confront Christians today and provides an amazing overview of God’s Word. Students are equipped with “faith proofs” to defend the Bible and to honor Christ as they apply Scripture to their everyday lives.

Sundays (6th-8th grade)

We meet every Sunday to teach and discuss the same Bible passage that the main ABC congregation is learning. We use this time as an opportunity to lay the groundwork for biblical knowledge and studying scripture to prepare them for their transition into the main church service once they are in high school.
